“How’s your rabbit food?"/"How’s your vulture food?”

"Rabbit food” is a derogatory nickname that meat eaters sometimes give to the greens eaten by vegans/vegetarians. “How’s your rabbit food?” they might ask. “How’s your vulture food?” is a response. The response has been credited to Dr. Douglas N. Graham.

“Rabbit food is better than vulture food. smile” was posted on Twitter by Chelsea on November 16, 2009. “How do YOU like YOUR VULTURE food?” was posted on Twitter by Jessica Wichmann on May 6, 2010. “Nice, I like ‘rabbit food is fine, hows the vulture food?’” was posted on 30 Bananas a Day on May 11, 2012.

“Doug Graham: Someone said to me, ‘How’s your rabbit food?’ I said, ‘Fine. How do you like your vulture food?’” was posted on Twitter by veganimated on May 26, 2012. “Doug Grahams reply to someone who says ‘How’s your rabbit food?’ ‘Fine thanks. How’s your vulture food?’” was posted on Twitter by Twitter by Monsieur Feline on January 14, 2013.

I like this thread and the whole thing benefits from good humour. Other that here this is the only humorous and very tongue in cheek website I’ve found: http://www.meatmonth.co.uk In response to the “how do you like your rabbit food?” dig I love the “how do you like your vulture food?” response. I find an irony in the factory doing all the killing being called a meat processing plant.
