“Lunchables are just charcuterie boards for kids”

Charcuterie boards have a selection of foods (such as meats and cheeses), and this has been compared to Lunchables (a brand of food and snacks popular with children).

“Quote of the day ‘So, lunchables are like charcuterie for juniors?’ LOL” was posted on Twitter by AmericasCuisine on May 16, 2012. “Just had the realization that Lunchables are charcuterie for kids” was posted on Twitter by Tim Mather on February 27, 2013. “Lunchables are charcuterie boards for kids” was posted on Twitter by PRINCESS on June 29, 2016. “Lunchables are just charcuterie for children” was posted on Reddit—Showerthoughts on June 24, 2018.

“The only difference between lunchables and a charcuterie board is class aesthetics” was posted on Twitter by Nathan Bernhardt on November 16, 2018, and this tweet went viral. “Charcuterie boards are just Lunchables for adults” is a similar saying.

“Lunchables are just American bento boxes” and “Lunchables are MREs for kids” are other sayings about Lunchables.

Wikipedia: Lunchables
Lunchables is a brand of food and snacks manufactured by Kraft Heinz in Chicago, Illinois and marketed under the Oscar Mayer brand. They were initially introduced in Seattle in 1988 before being released nationally in 1989. Many Lunchables products are produced in a Garland, Texas facility, and are then distributed across the United States.
