“So the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of the virus, but the vaccine passport does?”

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic resulted in some vaccine mandates and vaccine passports, but the Covid vaccine itself only lessened symptoms.  “So the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of the virus, but the vaccine passport does?” is a saying that has been printed on several images.

“It doesn’t stop transmission but a vaccine passport does....?  odd how this is never questioned!!!!!” was posted on Twitter by JH Tree Felling on March 10, 2021. “So, having the vaccine doesn’t stop you catching or passing on Covid, but a vaccine passport does? Makes perfect sense!” was posted on Twitter by “A stranger to most” on April 4, 2021. “So a vaccine doesn’t stop you spreading the virus, but a vaccine passport does?
