“What do they say in Paris, TX?"/"Oui-haw!”

The city of Paris, Texas, was named after Paris, France. They don’t usually speak French in Paris, Texas, but there are jokes. “En dishabille, as they say in Paris, Texas” was printed in Cartoons Magazine (Chicago, IL) in November 1920. “As they say in Paris, Texas, vive la difference” was printed in San Diego (CA) Union on April 12, 1971.

A riddle was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on March 22, 2019:

Q: What do they say in Paris, TX?
A: Oui-haw!

I had this problem with a Seymour Duncan SA2 in my Taylor a number of years ago.  For a long time, I would attach a ground strap to the guitar’s jack and ground it to my body—viola (as they say in Paris, Texas) no more racket.
