“Baseball is a game of adjustments” is one of the most overused phrases in professional baseball, usually referring to player performances. But it goes deeper. The game is a revolving door of constant and never-ending adjustments to financial changes and dilemmas of its own making.

May 13, 2014 5:28 PM
Steve Sandmeyer
(1090 The Fan) — Seattle Mariners outfielder Stefen Romero joined the Steve Sandmeyer Show before Tuesday’s game with the Tampa Bay Rays. He spoke about having regular at bats. “Having a consistent approach and have a routine that gets you ready for the game. Especially if you’re in the lineup that day. It certainly helps out your timing because baseball is a game of adjustments. One day off could mess with your timing a little bit.”
