Ecotard (ecology + retard)

Everyone supports the enviroment, although some critics have claimed that the “green” movement is too extreme. The derogatory nickname “ecotard” (ecology + retard) has been cited in print since at least July 2007.
Similar terms for an environmental activist include “climatard,” “envirotard,” “enviromarxist,” “environazi,” “enviroweenie,” “tree-hugger” and “greeniac.”
Similar political terms using “retard” (or “-tard”) include “Retardican” (since January 1996), “sheeptard” (since March 1999), “Republitard” (since April 2002), “neotard” (since May 2002), “rightard” (since January 2003), “patriotard” (since April 2003), “Demotard” (since July 2003), “libtard” (since July 2004), “GOPtard” (since July 2004), “leftard” (since August 2004), “wingtard” (since October 2004), “conservatard” (since November 2005),  “truthtard” (since October 2006), “Muzztard” (since December 2006), “teatard” (since March 2009), “crumbtard” (since May 2011) and “Occutard” (since October 2011).

Good for them. I’m glad to see people actually doing something for the environment. Well, unless you count the replacement of the windows, the paint that the Hummer will require and the four new tires. Nice one, ecotards.

The eco-tard movement has gone too far.  Too far, I say!

Could they be any more pompous!? Since when have the eco-tards ever “asked” for anything? All they’ve ever done is demand, protest, blackmail and sue everyone & their mothers just to get their way while making a tidy profit in the process.
Look at the recent oil drilling fiasco off the Californian coast. No racketeering there!

Just as predictably as the Catlin crew calling for rescue from the arctic ice, the Eco-tards at Grist (See 2nd update below) instantly blamed last night’s 8.9-scale earthquake, and the resulting tsunami that wiped out Kurihara, Japan on Global Warming, Climate Change, Global Climate Disruption, Thermageddon.

Ecotard’s Strike Back: Check with Climate Scientists for Views on Climate
Last week, I noted an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal signed by 16 scientists and engineers with the general thesis that “drastic action” to curb catastrophic anthropogenic global warming is unnecessary and not economically beneficial.

Two huge stories recently came out and, of course, they were not really covered too much by the Kept-Whores in the media as they are intent on providing cover to the eco-freak, twig eating, tofu farting;, lily livered, Prius driving, America-hating, bleeding heart liberal, blinkered, Starbucks drinking, elitist, can’t-we-all-just-get-along, granola eating, namby-pamby, Birkenstock wearing, tree hugging, long haired, pansy-assed, kumbaya-singing, Earth First, bed-wetting, patchouli wearing, dirty, smelly, dope smoking, bongo playing, arm pit haired women and feminized, armpit shaved men cryin “Mother Earth is Gaia” tortured artiste types who keep insisting global warming will raise ocean levels and drown people.
